Bridge out at White Kirkley

The footbridge at White Kirkley in Weardale (grid reference NZ024357) is closed until 11/9/2026 or until completion of essential repair works. Access across the bridge is prohibited and a signed diversion is in place. An alternative route will be available from the western side of the closure from Footpath Number 12 near Pye Close/Fineburn, via Footpath Numbers 12 and 13, extending north easterly to Low Bishopley and south to White Kirkley, leading to the eastern side of the closure and vice versa.
